Think high voltage—like 400V—paired with high wattage, maybe 2500W, all in a tube that’s only about 300mm long. The result? Lightning-fast heat-up and strong infrared output that dries towels quickly. But cramming that much power into a short tube cranks up the electric field. That’s great for performance, but it also stresses the insulation and connection points. Our aging test finds those weak spots before they ever leave the building. So you get a heater that handles your plant’s voltage without burning out prematurely.
What’s Inside? Quartz, Halogen, and a Solid Connection
The core is a quartz envelope protecting a halogen filament. Quartz handles thermal shock like a champ and doesn’t get worn down by repeated on-off cycles. And the halogen cycle keeps the element stable over time, returning evaporated tungsten back to the filament. Then we use an R7s connector. It locks in solid contact and keeps everything aligned, which cuts down on hot spots at the joint. In our hygrothermal chamber, we blast these parts with high heat and humidity to attack the seals and end caps. If the termination can’t stay dry and tight, resistance climbs and the unit fails early. We don’t let that happen.

On the plant floor, you need a heater that drops right into a towel rail assembly and wires up fast.
