When you have that kind of power density, things heat up faster. That means less time idling and less electricity wasted, which is how you actually start shrinking your carbon footprint.&#xA;But a word of caution: don&amp;rsquo;t just plug and play without checking your power supply. If the voltage doesn&amp;rsquo;t match the lamp, you&amp;rsquo;re going to burn them out early. And if you try to cram too many watts into a short tube, the end-caps will take a beating. You&amp;rsquo;ve got to get your heat sinking right, or you&amp;rsquo;re just &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;asking&lt;/a&gt; for trouble.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to keep in mind&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;These lamps are easy to swap in, but they aren&amp;rsquo;t &lt;em&gt;exactly&lt;/em&gt; the same as the old ones. Because of the coating, the emission spectrum shifts a tiny bit. Depending on what your wafer is made of, you might notice a slight change in how it absorbs the heat.&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s my advice: once you swap them out, spend a little time re-tuning your PID controllers. It’s a quick calibration step, but it stops you from overshooting your temps. That&amp;rsquo;s the only way to make sure those energy savings actually show up on your factory floor reports.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
